Guest Speaker:  Sergeant Major Stephen D. Blake, U.S. Army Sustainment Command

SM Blake is truly a soldiers' soldier and we are honored to have him as our guest speaker.  We encourage you to bring your fellow associates and industry partners to gain a soldier's understanding of the difference the private industry makes and on a daily basis to the soldiers in the field. 

SM Stephen D. Blake served as Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) until January 18 of this year. As Command Sergeant Major, CSM Blake served as the primary advisor to the ASC Commanding General on all matters pertaining to enlisted personnel assigned to the Command, particularly in areas related to their training and development and to the quality of life and well-being of soldiers and their families.

During his career, SM Blake has served in a number of key enlisted leadership positions. He has completed overseas tours in Germany and Korea, as well as combat tours in Southwest Asia during both Operations Desert Shield / Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and a tour in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. SM Blake has responded to the concerns of civilian and contractor employees of the Command, and still performs community outreach activities.
